From Owner, Grace Ortiz-Smith
Coffee has been a passion of mine since my first job as a barista, but the inspiration for Daydrift Coffee Co. came from another place I love just as much: the lake.
One of my favorite things to do is float in the calm waters of Lake Erie early in the morning, when the water is still and the world is quiet, and simply let the water drift me. That peaceful feeling inspired the name Daydrift and the experience I hope to create with every cup.
What started as a love for great coffee and the meaningful connections we share while drinking it, grew into a mobile coffee cart bringing handcrafted drinks and memorable experiences to events across the Lake Erie Shores, Northeast Ohio, and beyond.
We specialize in handcrafted cold brew drinks, cold brew lattes, chai, refreshers, and lemonades, all made fresh on-site.
Whether we're serving at a wedding, corporate event, bridal shower, farmers market, or private gathering, we love bringing people together over a really good cup of coffee.

Our menu is built around our signature cold brew: one of the things that makes Daydrift different. Slow brewed over time, it creates a smooth, less acidic coffee that many people find easier to drink and easier on the stomach. It also gives us a strong, flavorful base that helps service move quickly, so your drinks are made fresh without the longer wait times of traditional espresso drinks. Paired with seasonal flavors and staple syrups, every drink is made to order and crafted to bring something fun and memorable to your event.
